During the initial consultation with the dentist, appropriate methods are selected to improve the appearance of the teeth, tailored to the individual needs and health of the patient. In our dental office in Gdansk we carry out the following aesthetic dentistry treatments:

• • * scalling – it is a highly effective removal of tartar deposited on the surface of the teeth due to poor oral hygiene; not removing stone may result in lowering of the necks of the teeth and, as a result, pain,

• • * polishing – the procedure is usually performed after the scaling, allowing the teeth to be cleaned of various types of deposits, deposits or discolorations; we carry it with the use of special rubber brushes and a polishing paste matched to the individual needs of the patient,

• • * porcelain veneers – this is one of the fastest methods to improve the appearance of the teeth; it consists in creating individual, porcelain overlays for individual teeth that will change their appearance; the whole procedure starts with the removal of tooth impressions and the selection of the right veneers color; at the next visit the overlays are placed on the next teeth using special cement; before cementing, teeth should be properly ground to allow the use of porcelain veneers,

• • *  teeth whitening in the office – this method allows for relatively quick effects in the form of changing the color of teeth to a brighter one; consists in securing the gums, covering the teeth with a special whitening gel and irradiating them with the Beyond / Nitewhite lamp;

• • *  teeth whitening at home – it is a slightly longer treatment, because it is usually about 12 days; to start this kind of treatment, the patient reports to his dentist, who performs impressions of the teeth, which becomes the basis for creating individual overlays for individual dental arches; then the patient receives a special gel, which he fills the overlays and puts them on at night for the time indicated by the dentist,

• * zabiegi periodontologiczne – they are made to prevent the necks from landslides, which in turn leads to parodontosis; depending on the patient’s oral health, we perform over- and subgingival scaling as well as open and closed curettage.

After specific forms of treatment, caution should be exercised in terms of post-treatment meals. It’s best to apply the so-called white diet. It is also extremely important to maintain proper oral hygiene, which will allow you to maintain the longest effects achieved during treatment. For most treatments, their effects depend primarily on the care for proper teeth cleaning and thus can last up to several years.
